In 1993, Francis Gelb, the son of a goldsmith, crafted his first piece of flatware—a knife—which marked the beginning of Sabre. Using stainless steel and carbon alloy, each piece is forged and hand-assembled in the family workshop. The addition of colorful handles gave rise to Sabre's distinctive tableware, which is designed to bring a playful and eclectic touch to everyday dining. Known for pioneering the mix-and-match trend, Sabre continues to redefine table settings with their bold and creative approach to flatware.

With the Bistrot collection, Sabre drew inspiration from some of their favorite places—restaurants, terraces, and cafés. When designing this cutlery, Sabre wanted to capture that authentic atmosphere while adding a modern touch. From bold reds to blues, along with striking horn or tortoise effects, Sabre offers the collection in both gloss and vintage finishes.
