Haviland & Parlon was established back in the early 1800s by the Haviland brothers from Limoges. After many years of refining the technique of producing beautiful china, the brand has been acknowledged as one of the most esteemed French manufacturers of luxury products. In 2020, Haviland & Parlon was taken over by a new, young, and dynamic team to perpetuate its spirit of excellence and high-quality craftsmanship, which have made the company famous for over a century. The new team, led by two sisters, Marie-Amélie and Marie-Caroline Guillot, is committed to preserving the DNA of the company based on extreme quality, exceptional manual know-how, and great creativity in the decorations.

At Madame Chirac's request, following a design by the Musée de Sèvres, this collection mixes the classicism of its décor with a motif of gold-accented foliage in accordance with the grounds of the renowned property Hotel Matignon. Classic and sophisticated, the Matignon collection offers a colourful rim framed by a thin line of gold matte and a gold border.
